Sporting Fingal Core Values

As a community Club, Sporting Fingal has a number of key underlying principles which it will promote at all times:

As the Club’s name suggests, our Club wishes to uphold the sense of sportsmanship in all of our endeavours. As a family-friendly atmosphere is of prime importance to us, this applies particularly to match days.

• We will always encourage our fans to respect the opposition, match officials and visiting supporters. While being passionate in their support for our Club, we want to be known as the “sporting” club in every sense.

• A fundamental principle of the Club is that of inclusiveness. We want Sporting Fingal to embrace and involve all members and sectors of our community

• Sporting Fingal regards the promotion of education as an integral part of the club’s responsibilities. The prime focus of our outreach activities involves working with the schools in Fingal to promote health and well-being through football activities, assist them in encouraging children to enjoy their school time, and appreciate the value of education.

• We actively encourage and facilitate our own players in undertaking further education at all levels, both through our Third Level Scholarship Scheme and other supports.

• It is accepted by all of our players and staff that the privilege of being part of Sporting Fingal also bestows obligations to support community initiatives across the county. Collectively as a Club and individually as players, Sporting Fingal will strive to be availableto assistprojects or events that add to the social capital of Fingal county.
