Thursday, February 11, 2010 By Conor Cullen @ 10:20 AM :: Club News, In The Community

The FAI Ford Cup was out in the schools of Fingal again this week, with Scoil Mhuire in Howth, Hedgestown National School in Lusk, St. Patrick’s Senior National School in Corduff, and St. Andrews National School in Malahide all receiving visits from the famous trophy.

Conan Byrne was accompanied CPO Conor Cullen and the trophy to Hedgestown on Wednesday morning, and they were joined by John Frost that afternoon as they visited Hedgestown National School in Lusk.

Defenders Shaun Maher and Brian Gannon spoke to a packed assembly in St. Patrick’s Senior National School, Corduff on Wednesday too, and the lads were more than happy to answer all the questions thrown at them, as well as giving out a few prizes.

This weekend, the trophy will be in Swords, as Sporting Fingal’s pre-season campaign continues in Balheary vs Swords Celtic.
