The FAI Ford Cup continued the rounds of Fingal this week, visiting schools in Dublin 15, Skerries and the Naul, with further visits to come tomorrow.
On Monday, Conan Byrne and Glen Crowe accompanied Club Promotions Officer to St. Patrick’s National School in Diswellstown. Despite visiting over 20 classes and 700 kids with the trophy, the lads were happy to hang on after school had finished and have a chat with the school teams. The kids were delighted as Conan and Glen offered them advice and answered all their questions.
On Tuesday, Milverton National School in Skerries received a visit from the famous trophy, and the kids took it in turns to get a photo with the cup. Thursday saw the trophy travelling to the Naul National School, and again the kids got a chance to have their photo taken with the cup.
On Friday, Conan will once again be accompanying the trophy, this time in Scoil Realt na Mara, Skerries, while in the afternoon, new signing Brendan Clarke will visit Sacred Heart National School in Mulhuddart.
On Saturday, the trophy will be in Corduff Sports Centre, for the first annual Abbie Byrne Memorial Cup Game.
