Shamrock Rovers’ visit to Terryland Park to face Galway United will be broadcast live on RTÉ Two, as will the Dublin derby between St. Patrick’s Athletic and Sporting Fingal, it was confirmed today.
RTÉ Television will broadcast live coverage of the Airtricity League fixture between Galway United and Shamrock Rovers on March 26th (kick-off 7.35pm) and will be in Richmond Park on April 2nd to show live coverage of St. Patrick’s Athletic against Sporting Fingal (kick-off 7.35pm).
RTÉ Television will broadcast 15 live games from the Airtricity League in 2010, an increase from 10 games last season, as well as both FAI Ford Cup semi finals and the final itself. RTÉ Television will also show fans a round-up of all the Airtricity League Premier Division matches throughout the season on the weekly Monday Night Soccer (MNS) highlights show.
A season of televised Airtricity League action began last Friday with the meeting of Bohemians and Sporting Fingal. RTÉ Two’s live coverage continues this Sunday with the meeting of Dundalk and Drogheda United in the first Louth derby of the season.
