Eamon was part of Drogheda’s 2007 Premier Division title winning team but the 25-year old initially burst onto the League of Ireland arena with local club Bray Wanderers in 2003 with his goal-scoring exploits, the same year he claimed the PFAI Young player of the year accolade.
Had earlier been in the books of Leicester City as a trainee and ended up back in England for a short time with Crewe Alexandra before teaming up with the Drogs.
Wore the Irish shirt with distinction at the Under-20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates during 2003 and also has since lined out for the Under-21s.
